The Sandclaw's cousin, the Mudclaw, can be found in swamp-like terrain, while the much rarer Deathclaw is found deep within subterranean tombs.
All scorpions share the same general attributes, but their On Hit Status Effect can be exchanged for Stun (Mudclaw) or Rotting Touch (Deathclaw)...
