"Drak'nars boast a draconic ancestry, yet have a canine-like appearance. They swarm their enemies in yapping mobs, armed with crudely made weapons. They strike fast, strike loud, and vanish the moment the tide turns. Cowardice is survival, and Drak'nars survive very well. Individually weak but maddening in numbers, they fill dungeons with traps and trouble, always scurrying just out of reach..."

Equipping the Drak'nar...
Drak'nar typically fight with crude, improvised weapons. However, if a GM wants to create more detailed combat encounters, they can assign specific weapons to different creatures. For example, within a group of drak'nar, some may wield daggers, some may wield short swords or spears, and some might even use a bow and arrows.
If some weapon variety among similar creatures is desired, simply start with a base Attack Score of 1 and add the Attack Score of the weapon assigned to the creature: this total is their revised Attack Score.
Similarly, adding other equipment, such as a shield, will increase a creature's Defense Score. If a GM creates monsters with improved Attack and Defense Scores, they should also consider increasing the amount of XP or treasure awarded for defeating the creature.
